Enjoys his days cloud-watching and playing chess when he’s not sleeping in class. Has a tendency to be self-concious of himself, but has grown to not care anymore. Doesn’t like to lose the people he cares about, and longs for a girl that can shake him to the core. One that allows him to be himself. Shikamaru has passed the placement tests, and will in turn leave Konoha High for the University a year earlier. He looks forward to the day when he can get out of his house and no longer be under his mother’s rule. “The Shrew” as he dubbed her has her doubts about him growing up and moving on to college. He sets out to prove her wrong. Through the course of this past year he has grown as a person and as a man. No longer does he care what others think about him and not afraid to run his mouth. For a time he let the loss of one girl take over him, until he realized if he wanted her, he needed to prove nothing to anyone but himself that he was worthy. That she was worthy of him. A lightweight when it comes to bad habits, Shikamaru has tended to get drunk and not remember the next morning. Costing him a painful trip to the tattoo and piercing palor; with a new set of nipple rings. He recently quit smoking as well and is addicted to chewing gum in order to get rid of both bad habits. Neither suit him, nor can he handle them. Forever giving him a hate for both. Shikamaru is now more a man than he ever was. Someone that can be proud of himself and stands up for what he believes in; and those he cares about.
